lyrics

Was no further I could go
at Ness Point the waves met the shore
the clouds were dark and grey
and the high tide touched the rails
rocked the ghosts in their boats
on the deep sea, above the wrecks
where they are fishing no more
and the sea would swallow me

Heard the gulls chasing food
and the wind turbine move
the north sea knows the sun rises
and lights the gas tank holder rusting
when the night walks away
the grey rocks nest on the shore
like protection they they lay
and on the island I stay
